What can I say that hasn’t already been said…we stayed in unit 302. Literally steps form the beach. Incredible view of the beach and it’s spectacular sunsets! Condo was very clean and nicely decorated. Had all you could need for a very comfortable stay, including beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas as well as all the basic kitchen needs. We stayed in late June and the beach was quiet with plenty of room to set up for a fun day on the beach. I have to thank Margaret (manager) for all she did to help make sure our stay was perfect. Always smiling and extremely helpful. Can’t thank her enough. Only negative was a few minor issues that need to be fixed in unit and Margaret got them taken care of quickly. Would highly recommend Turtle Crawl! Hope to be back next year!
Incredible stay at Turtle Crawl Inn – definitely exceeded ALL expectations. Condo #501. Gorgeous decor with a million-dollar beach view. The staff and owners went above and beyond to make sure all guests enjoyed their stay. The landscaping, pool and outdoor areas were well maintained and user friendly. THANK YOU, we will definitely return again and again and again.
We stayed in the Garden Condo #63 on November 14-17 and it was one of the most Glorious vacations to Longboat that we have ever had. Everything was clean and more than accommodating. My family and I have been coming to Longboat about 13 years so it is more like a second home. After all the horrible destruction to the area we were worried that it might now be the same as we remember…BUT…this place is resilient and people were working non-stop to help build back what’s been lost. The Turtle Crawl Inn was just what we needed and we will definitely be staying again. The pool, the grill, the beach, the beautiful ocean and wonderful sunsets. Made this 50th Birthday one for the books! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
A Delightful Stay with a Touch of Nostalgia
We recently stayed at the Turtle Crawl Inn in Room 62, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with a lovely adjoining room on the left that made it perfect for our group. Both rooms were well-appointed and updated, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The only exception was the bathroom in Room 62, which had an avocado-colored decor–a charming throwback to the 70s! While it was certainly a retro vibe, it didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Overall, the Turtle Crawl Inn is a wonderful place to stay, blending modern amenities with a bit of vintage character. Highly recommend!

Another awesome stay this summer at the Turtle Crawl Inn. This was our third vacation trip here in a row and we are already looking forward to next summer’s stay. Can’t say enough about how much we like it!

Me and my best girlfriends have been coming for years! We’ve stayed in many different rooms. They all have different advantages.. just really depends on what you are aiming for! Love the reception! Both women are so phenomenal and helpful! I love how it’s not pretentious! Very low-key, relaxing vibe! Probably some of the most beautiful sunsets in the entire earth happen on this coast! Prices are very reasonable and fair!
We have stayed at Turtle Crawl twice now in October, 2023 (#301) and May, 2024 (#204). It is definitely our go-to for any visit to Longboat Key and we will be back. Rebecca and Nicole in the office are professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Both units, #301 and #204, were fully stocked, clean, neat and accommodating. The view is beautiful, the beach was quiet, but friendly, the beach chairs are easily accessible and convenient. We highly recommend Turtle Crawl!
We had a wonderful stay at the Turtle Crawl Inn Condo #302 in April. The unit was clean and well stocked. The view was beautiful! The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was so quiet and peaceful. The beach and pool were not crowded ever. The beach chairs were convenient and comfortable. We loved the towel exchange. We will definitely return.
We have been coming to Turtle Crawl Inn for the past 28 years and absolutely love it. All of the tower condos are beautiful, the property is well maintained and the views are simply stunning. The beach is private and quiet. It doesn’t matter what time of year we come, it is always perfect.
Just got home from spending 5 nights 6 days at Turtle Crawl Inn. Tower Condos #402.
I’ll say, WOW! There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The condo was perfect and fully stocked with all cooking ware!
The water pressure in the shower is fanominal!
Beds were comfortable and the view is breathtaking!
I will go back time & time again!
All the Managers of the complex are so nice and accommodating.
The grocery store is very close. They even provide a box fan for peaceful sleeping at night.
I could go on & on……

It was our second time staying at the same unit at Turtle Crawl Inn, and we would definitely come back! Easy check-in and our unit was super clean and ready for our stay. A shout-out to the staff for making our stay so comfortable.
We stayed in condo #304 in April. All was perfect except the ocean water was a little cold for my wife. Turtle Crawl is really close to the ocean so the view is the best. The sunsets are grand. The condo was very clean, kitchen items were top self. Even the wine glasses were high end. The shower had wonderful pressure. Beds were comfortable. Longboat is a very nice beach get away. One day we only saw 2 people on the beach as far as you could see. The restaurants were all very good in service and quality. We’ll be back again.
We’ve been a 5-time repeat visitor to Turtle Crawn since 2018. We like the naturalness of the beach area, the friendly helpful staff,
the relaxing atmosphere and the short drive to areas of interest. We’ve already booked our next stay. We’re an elderly couple, and we always leave the Turtle Crawl feeling better than when we got there. I guess that says something, but having said that, young families with kids seem to enjoy it too.
We love Turtle Crawl Inn! It is clean, quiet and has beautiful views of the beach. The staff is wonderful! We come here often.
We loved our stay at Turtle Crawl Inn in Unit 403. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. Appreciate the views, being right on the water and close proximity to restaurants and shopping. Staff was very helpful, and the week went by (too) quickly!
Stayed April, 2023 Villa # 83. Unit was a little dated and the floor plan a little odd the bathroom is a walk through that separates the living area from the bedroom area. However, the unit was clean, and we had no issues. Staff friendly, the location is great for beach access, plenty of beach chairs, beautiful beach area and not overcrowded. Would stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The landscaping, the pool, the beach and all the amenities such as the towels, chairs, umbrellas, putting green, gas grills etc. were top notch. We stayed in 402, and really enjoyed the lanai looking out on the Gulf.! The location is absolutely perfect . The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked most nights. We appreciated the towel and paper product service. Rebecca and the other girls were very gracious and helpful. Our only complaints would be the couch was very uncomfortable and the leg on the coffee table was broken so we had to be very careful with it. I am sure the owners will take care of that eventually. Had a wonderful time and will come back.

This was my first time in Longboat Key but it certainly won’t be my last – but I’m bringing my whole family with me next time! We really enjoyed unit 501, too! The condo was not only clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed – THE VIEWS!! Waking up to the best views and enjoying the sunset was a highlight of the trip. I loved being able to walk right out to the beach and enjoy the day and the sunsets. Can’t wait to be back!
Longboat Key is our family’s top beach destination! You cannot beat the beaches– the best anywhere! Longboat has such a lovely, peaceful, and low-key vibe. Turtle Crawl Inn– UNIT 501 is our favorite place to stay. It has all the amenities we need and the BEST view, being that it is right on the ocean. The unit has views to the South since it is an end unit, and of course the perfect view of the Gulf to the west. The kitchen is well-equipped and the owners have done many updates to make it the nicest unit there! Beds are comfortable, and the nice large closet and dresser help you feel at home, and organized during vacation. We love the small pool that doesn’t get crowded… and putt putt green and shuffle board are fun for the whole family. We highly recommend Turtle Crawl inn, Unit 501.
Turtle Crawl is a true hidden gem! We really enjoyed the amenities (towels, chairs, umbrellas, putting green, etc.) We stayed in 103, and really enjoyed being able to walk right out on the beach! The location is absolutely perfect – very close to St. Armands, Bradenton, Anna Maria, etc. The staff was very friendly, and even had the condo ready for an early check-in so we could come straight from the airport! We absolutely fell in love with this place, so much so that we already booked our next getaway at Turtle Crawl only 24 hours after leaving! Can’t wait to get back!
Michael and I have been coming to Turtle Crawl Inn for 5 years. We are so thankful that we found this little gem. The staff is wonderful…and they know us…which I find charming! Love our villa and love this beach! We will be vacationing at Turtle Crawl for the next 25 years…and if I can talk Michael into it…maybe a wedding! LOL Can’t wait to see it in a couple of week!!!!!
We decided to spend Christmas at the Beach this year but I was worried about the chance of arriving late on Christmas Eve and how the check in process would be handled. “No problem”, Rebecca had everything organized and ready should we arrive late. She even researched what restaurants would be open on Christmas Day and also provided me with the information about the grocery store nearby that would provide on-line ordering and delivery service and she said they would make sure the groceries got put into our unit so the food would be there when we arrived late on Christmas Eve. From the very first contact I made with Rebecca (cold call on the phone) all the way through the entire week, this property and the staff are outstanding! Always tidying up the common areas, etc. It was the most wonderful Christmas we have had in a long time and THANK YOU especially to the staff at Turtle Crawl Inn. We will be back again!

Enjoyed our second year here! Spent almost two weeks last February…great weather…and returned this year in March for about ten days. Weather not quite as nice, but still loved the location and atmosphere as before. We plan to return again next year! Great staff…wonderful restuarants, and easy access to groceries, Sarasota and other community activities. Wonderful sunsets. Fairly quiet location which we like. Condos spotless, and any amenity provided if able. Grilled out two nights which was a nice change of pace …just home tonight, and miss it already!

We stayed a couple of weeks and found it very difficult to leave. We were in Unit #203. It was a lovely one bedroom that was spacious, well-equipped and decorated attractively. The linens were plush and plentiful. Ample kitchenware, plus we used the gas grills that were provided next to a picnic shelter right on the beach. Very clean, comfortable beds, comfortable furniture, good wifi, flat screen TV with cable and very quiet. The building had only 20 units. Beach chairs, a sun umbrella and rain umbrellas were provided. There was a good swimming pool. We enjoyed lovely sunsets from our second floor balcony. Long beach walks started our mornings. The white sand beach stretched about 4 miles in either direction. We have stayed in the area numerous times before and regret we did not know of this place sooner. We will stay at this place the next time we return to the area.

We stayed at the Turtle Crawl Inn Resort for 2 nights in November 2018. It is a beautiful place close to the beach, but we couldn’t connect to wifi.
We were in condo #61.
We were very happy with the Turtle Crawl Inn. Everything was very comfortable and clean. Being right there on the beach was wonderful and access up and down the coast easy. The only complaint would be that the WiFi was a little weak.
We have stayed in Turtle Crawl a number of times over the past 5 years, staying in the Tower Condos. All these Condos have great views over the ocean
and are the best place to see fabulous sunsets. The location is quiet and right on the beach, sunbeds and umbrellas are provided and there is a decent
pool to relax by too. The Receptionists are very friendly, helpful and efficient at their job.
Loved our 12 days spent there! We upgraded from efficiency apt. to the towers our second day…much nicer! Beautiful gulf views and sunsets! Staff super! Hope to return next year for same extended stay!
Meine Frau und ich haben im Oktober 2017 eine Suite für 3 Tage bewohnt, die unsere Erwartung jedoch total enttäuscht hat.
Für immerhin 557.00 Dollar, also 186.00 pro Tag , erhielten wir mit der “Suite 63” ein dunkles Loch in der Art eines kleinen
Motelzimmers mit minimaler Kücheneinrichtung.
Die teilweise defekte Beleuchtung konnte das Zimmer kaum erhellen und die veraltete Klimaanlage war nachts störend laut.
Geschirr, Bestecke und Töpfe waren bunt zusammengesucht und von miserabler Qualität.
Positiv zu erwähnen sind jedoch die ordentlichen und kostenlosen Strandliegen und Sonnenschirme.
Aber das genügt nicht, um diese Adresse zu empfehlen.

We were able to stay at the Turtle Crawl Inn Resort for a week in November. My wife and I loved it! Our condo (#103) was very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We especially enjoyed being able to walk right out onto the beach and watched several amazing sunsets. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this resort.
